Benzophenone-4 is a UV filter used in cosmetic products, it absorbs UV radiation protecting both the product and the skin from sun damage.

While Benzophenone-4 does have UV filtering properties, it is best recommended to still use your favorite SPF. Benzophenone-4 helps to add stability to products from sun damage and can aid other SPFs in protecting the skin from sunburn and premature aging.
